so today when i got home from school, both of the gates to our driveway were padlocked. and i was really annoyed so i just climbed over it and i felt like a criminal. haha and then i went inside and sitting on the kitchen table is the combination to one of the locks. i dont freaking understand my parents?!?! only 8 more months at home THANK GOODNESS |

i took the ACT today. it made me tired. stupid. so i've gotten into lsu whoo. its funny bc Rice sent me this big envelope with an application. ha! and the letter on the inside uses big words.
i dont know what we're being for fall fair?
i'm ready to go to college, live in my dorm with lizzie, etc. :) yay it makes me so happy to think about yay yay yay
city meet in ONE WEEK. then my high school swimming career is overrr
i'm trying to go to seattle over thanksgiving !! ahhh its been WAY too long since ive seen my gparents - over a yr. and theyre so cute too.
there's christmas music playing??? i dont understand.

i just applied for LSU. that's so scary. i don't even know what i want to do with my life!! and i think im retarded bc i can't figure out how to apply for a dorm. lizzie and i are going to room together next year!! that's so exciting, i get really excited everytime i think about it!! |

of course katrina's a hardcore hurricane, its such a hardcore name. i'm seriously not looking forward to being stuck at home for however long. my little brother is being especially loud and obnoxious. blah. i've seen a bunch of houses in my neighborhood with boarded up windows, seems kind of extreme? but maybe they'll be the ones laughing at us in the end.
mud football would be fun on tuesday if all of this is over!!

I got a haircut today :) its really not that short or anything but its exciting because the chlorine decided to reside in the ends of my hair so i got that all cut off. Lizzie and i had appointments at the same time so we went together, it was fun. Her hair's reallllly cute. I saw Blaine's mom when i was there, too. wiiiiierd. she parked next to me.
This summer has been pretttty adventurous but it's had its boring moments. The other night we went to see Madagascar kinda late at Rave, and when we came out of the theater i was like OH! i have a flat tire! So Andrew changed it and put on my wimpy looking spare and the next day my dad took the flat to be fixed and they couldnt fix it because it was this huge gash. And they said that i wouldn't have been able to drive on it like that either, so it had to have happened at Rave. soooo i guess someone slashed my tire?!?! So now i owe my parents $150 that i dont have.
I reallllly like my job!! the people i work with are fun and stuff and its not stressful. haha, the other day one of my bosses rode to the pool on a riding lawn mower. idk it was reallly funny.
OH and i finished my 1000-piece Mickey Mouse puzzle this morning! |

okay, guys. im back. sorry its been awhile. its summer time and what a horrible way to start it off. thursday night i was driving with my little brother, matt to get some ice cream right? and then a car swerves and the roads were still wet and so, we wrecked. my car is a jeep and those flip pretty easily, apparently. we ended up ALMOST flipping, ran into a tree, matt broke his right wrist and his left ankle. i have a huge gash on my forehead from slamming into the windshield. my parents told me i cant get another car until after college, this just really sucks. ugh. i just cant believe it. you never think things like this will happen to you. poor matt, he was knocked unconcious and hes still in the hospital recovering. i mean hes so young, what if this leaves scars? i just. . . feel awful. i just dont know what to say to make things better. ever since it happened, my house has been quite. if we arent at the hospital we just sit there, i tried to read and even do crosswords, but i cant. i end up just sitting there crying. ive always been so mean to matt, and now i just feel awful about the situation he is in. i guess this is an important life lesson. i need to appreciate what i have before its gone.
 thats the firemen next to the car. how horrible?
